How does the affiliate programme work?

You get a unique Fundably portal link. Share it with your audience — in content, newsletters, social posts, or direct recommendations. When a business applies through your link and gets funded, you earn commission. Fundably handles the application, broker support, lender matching, and compliance. You earn without managing any part of the lending process.

How much can I earn?

Commission is up to 30% of the broker fee on each funded deal. Deal size varies, but commissions typically range from £200–£500 on smaller deals (£10k–£25k funding) up to £5,000–£10,000+ on larger deals (£250k–£500k+ funding). The average funded deal generates around £2,000 in commission. Commission is paid within 14 days of the deal completing.

Do I need to integrate anything technically?

No. The affiliate programme requires zero technical integration. You receive a unique link to a branded Fundably portal. You share that link — on your website, in your newsletter, on social media, or directly with clients. There is nothing to install, no API to connect, and no application to build. For those who want deeper integration, Fundably also offers iFrame and API options through the platform partner programme.

What businesses are eligible?

Fundably supports UK limited companies with at least 6 months of trading history. We cover most sectors. Sole traders, partnerships of three or fewer persons, and unincorporated businesses are not currently supported. If you are unsure whether a referral is eligible, submit it — our team reviews all applications and we will follow up with your client directly.

How do I track my referrals?

Each affiliate partner receives a unique link that tracks all referrals back to your account. You'll have access to a real-time dashboard showing applications submitted, current status, funded deals, and commission earned. You can see exactly where each referral is in the process without needing to chase us for updates.

Do I need FCA authorisation to participate?

Affiliates who simply share a link and introduce businesses to Fundably do not require FCA authorisation. Fundably acts as the regulated credit broker and handles all compliance. We recommend reviewing the FCA guidance on credit broking introductions if you are uncertain about your specific situation. Most affiliate activities (content, newsletters, social, referrals) fall well within the permitted activity for introducers.
